iX VEND dramatically reduces scale formation and saves more energy in the operation of coffee vending machines or espresso machines when there is a low presence of scale in the water. It has 5-stage filtration. Designed to provide high quality water by improving the taste, color and smell of water.

At the same time, it inhibits the formation of salts for applications in machines producing hot drinks. The filter removes sediment and chlorine while protecting against waterborne bacteria and germs. iX VEND drastically reduces the accumulation of scale on the surfaces, ensuring the correct operation of the machines.

The 5 stages of Filtering:

1st & 2nd Stage: Filtration with a 5 micron solids filter. This filter traps suspended particles such as dirt, sand, rust, asbestos, turbidity, etc.

3rd Stage: Filtration with polyphosphate balls. In this way I prevent the accumulation or formation of scale in our equipment.

4th Stage: Filtering with Silver ions. Silver ions help keep water clean and free of bacteria and microbial loads, viruses and bacteria. With its antibacterial action you have a guarantee and high safety in every use.

5th Stage: Filtration with activated medicinal carbon. The water is filtered through the activated medicinal carbon filter and removes chlorine, its derivatives and harmful substances from the water. At this stage, the water already has a high quality without odors, chlorine, its derivatives, THMs, PCBs, etc.

Unique Insert Refill Technology

The ix Vend filter features the unique Insert Refill technology, meaning the internal replacement filter can be recycled avoiding the replacement of the entire cartridge-canister used by competing filters. This is a huge step towards reducing plastics and their waste by contributing to it.

Variable Bypass

The new iX VEND head allows us to regulate the amount of untreated water from salts (magnesium-calcium) that will pass through the filter. This is necessary, to be able to achieve the desired taste results we want, for the best extraction of the coffee.
